My hair obsession started when I was just a little girl. I would style all of my family and friends hair in my mothers kitchen where I had set up my first shop. For a long time I ran away from my gift by working other odd jobs. I had been a manager at Fulton County Schools for 10 years and one day I realized that I was not walking in my purpose. I wrote out my plan to become a licensed cosmetologist and open my own hair salon. Just a few months later I put in my resignation and started my journey.

 

I enrolled at CEI Hairs School located in Atlanta, GA and it was the best decision I had ever made! I graduated nine months later  and earned my Master Cosmetologist License. Six months later I opened Sunshine Glam' Hair Studio.   

 

It has not been an easy ride, but for sure it has been a fulfilling dream come true for me. I love to enhance the beauty of other women and encourage them to be great. There have been challenges along the way, but I continue to walk in my purpose.

Through it all, I have created my brand: Ken' D. Collection. My brand includes, premium virgin hair, mink eyelashes, satin hair bonnets and hair bands, lace glue, and soon we will be adding hot tools to the collection. I have platformed at the Bronner Bros. Hair show in Atlanta, GA., been featured in a couple magazines. My goal and mission is to continue to make all of my Glam' Dolls beautiful and maintain a healthy mane for each client thatI touch.
